Registered Clinical Counsellor

My Experience

Hi! I'm Candice, founder of Connection Space Counselling. I'm a strong believer in the importance of connection as a form of recovery from mental health challenges. Connection to ourselves, our family or friends, colleagues or our broader community.

Connection can be a great antidote for loneliness, depression and anxiety. The first step to enhance your wellbeing can often be achieved by connecting with a therapist through counselling. Together we seek to understand what's troubling you, whether its current stressors and events, or experiences from the past.

I have clinical counselling experience working in a variety of settings including private clinics, hospitals and helpline services. Having gained this experience, I am comfortable working with a range of mental health presentations.

Current and previous roles include:

  • Group Therapist (current) - Ramsay Healthcare - Northside Inpatient Clinics in Cremorne & St Leonards (Adult General Mood & Young Adult Units)

  • Group Therapist - Windsor Road Private Clinic, Baulkham Hills

  • Helpline Counsellor - The Butterfly Foundation

  • Mentor - Raise Foundation Adolescent Program

I am also currently registered as a counselling provider with a number of Employee Assistance Programs.
